To commemorate the App Store’s 10th birthday, App Annie, the app analytics company, has conducted a comprehensive statistic and tidying of the most popular apps of the past 10 years.

App Store is Apple’s app store launched in July 2008. Since its launch, the app has been downloaded more than 170 billion times, which has enabled developers to earn $30 billion to become the most profitable app store in the world.

10. QQ – chat application

QQ is a chat application developed by Tencent, which allows ordinary Chinese users to get to the Internet at the earliest. QQ has successfully ranked among the top ten applications in the world due to its huge user base in China.
